In this case it is of the same type as all the standard C4D particle forces (Attractor, Wind..)
and offers to read out the velocity forces of a fluid simulation (gas or liquid) and drive other C4D parts with it (for example C4D dynamics, Mograph clones, C4D particles, C4D Hair and
any object that takes c4d particle forces as input).

It is also useful to make clones start floating upwards inside of water, be taken away by it, rise within a hot flow of fire or be burst away by an explosion simulation. 
This does only work one way though. If the clones are defined as obstacles then there is currently no fluid force defined inside of their volume.  
